7/29 barbecue

Today we went to casper's home for barbecue, the barbecue's place is in the top of floor, you can see the beautiful sunset and the street. He was very attentive to help us prepare the ingredients, sandy also took his dog there and I play with her dog, her dog is too high that I can't catch it, we took a lot of interesting photos and play untill to 12:00 and came back home.

visit FTV

Today we went to visit FTV; we were first entered to a meeting room and had an introduction by post production of FORMOSA NEWS, Peter. He talked about his working experience in Taiwan and point of view about Taiwan's political environment. Later, I saw the newsroom and real photographic equipments, I had an experience in feeling the news broadcast in the newsroom. Understanding the erection of background programs and watching television programs presented, how it works behind, students are all given all praise. I already knew that a News programs need so many staffs behind the scenes. One of a FORMOSA NEWS anchor, Jinny Chang shared us how to be a good anchor, and how to respond when the unexpected condition occurs.
FTV’s programs full of localization, and the market segmentation is very successful, The future will use digital TV to bring opportunities and to promote enterprise development towards diversification. When talked about the television sensitive issue of political partisanship. Regardless of the television stations have their own political position of preference, but this cannot and will not affect the news content of objective reporting. As professional journalists, they must keep the principle of neutrality news. Because of the time limitation, we had to leave early. We hope have another opportunity to visit there again.

7/30 eat sushi

Since MTSU's students have left Taiwan.so we went to Taipei with the rest of classmates, Matt and David.
Today we went to Taipei to eat sushi, each sushis has sashimi on the top, and each sashimi all as large as the palm, the first time I saw so large the sushi is , so that each of us all say, I do not want to eat sashimi for a while.
After eating lunch, we went to the Longshan Temple, there are many believers praying for the god, because I am a Christian, so I just visited around. Everyone has his or her religious beliefs, As long as you be a sincere prayer, God will help you achieve aspirations.However, the most important thing is to work hard.

7/12 opening ceremony

The business Camp's opening ceremony was held in the school's restaurant this morning, there were many teachers join this activity. Today, I saw all the foreign friends, they are very talkative and very nice. The teacher,Dr.Jin taught us a new view about the Knowledge Management, I was a little tension due to the presentation. Different from the teacher in Taiwan,Dr.Jin focuses on interaction and feedback and foreign students are willing to express their views, this is a very special experience for me.

This afternoon we went to the playground to do exercise. Some people play volleyball, some play basketball and I play badminton Because of without exercise too long. my body could not feel flexible. We had a badminton game, whether win or lose or not, we had a great time.

7/24 went to Fulong beach

Today we went to Fulong beach, although the weather kept raining, but still could not reduce our enthusiasm.Swimming at the beach, playing beach volleyball, making sand castles, leaving many precious memory.

The sky and sea are very blue,
we ate Fulong famous lunch box for dinner. (only costs55 NT dollars)
There are pork, eggs, sauerkraut, sausages and cabbage inside the lunch box.
it is economic and tasty.

we went to San Ho paper and caton company in the afternoon.This is a traditional corrugated paper manufacturing, the use of many human and automated production to achieve the customized service.To maintain the overall environment on Earth at the same time, the company very concerns about the non-green products has the possibility to harm the environment amd humans.There are also many college students came to the factory for a part-time job,they do some works by hand just like labeling, packaging and paper folding.The job looks easy, but I can't do the same job in a long time.

we took a bus to visit taipei 101, it is not the first time for me to visit the second tallest building in the world. I ate lunch and cold stone at there and also went to the shopping mall new york new york. New york new york will closed soon, so it has some discount right now, but I can't find anything to buy because the time is not enough.

7/14 visit HSP

We took a bus to visit Hsinchu Science Park(HSP) in this afternoon,the HSP has been hailed as Taiwan's silicon valley. There are a lot of famous high-tech companies in this park, but it's pity that we could not visit the inside of the companies.
We visited the Hsinchu Science Park's management office, where the environment is excellent, and wish have the opportunity to work here.

we took a trip to Taipei Rapid Transit Company and Taipei city traffic control center today.The weather is still hot and we take a lot of pictures and know some control center.Taipei County chose to use a remote monitoring solution based on IP architecture. This would provide the required real time monitoring of traffic conditions as well as real time broadcasting to other media (such as general TV and public website) sources.And we also know the easy card not only can pay the traffic tickets but also can afford in the convinient store, rent a bike, it just like a credit card.

we take a trip to Tamshui, there are old streets and Tamshui rivers around us. I bought some decorations and ate snacks in the old streets. The hard eggs, fish crisp, plum soup, fish ball soup a-gay are all famous snacks in Tamshui.
